| The graphics system is a high resolution and high performance one (typically 70 frames per second and 16.7 million brilliant colors) that allows you to move around the course in real-time. The system is so fast it seems instantaneous. Course flyovers and multiple simultaneous views are all standard features. The views of the golf course can be either projected onto a large screen set in front of the player or just viewed on your computer monitor set to the side. |
In Home & Commercial Golf Simulators |
Our Golf Simulator system allows you to use your own golf clubs (from driver to putter) and play a complete round of golf -- or maybe just practice, working on that swing fault -- in the comfort of your own home or office. The views of the golf course can be either projected onto a large screen set in front of the player or just viewed on your computer monitor set to the side. Using your own clubs, you set up to hit the shot just as you would on a real course. The system allows you to drive off the tee, hit fairway shots, pitch, chip and putt the ball into the hole. After every shot, the system automatically flies along the ball's trajectory to where the ball lies, ready for the next shot. Whether you are a pro or just a beginner, the investment in a golf simulator will do more for your game and provide more entertainment than any other simulator or the latest space-age technology clubs you can buy. A must for every serious golfer! |
| The Swing Analyzer / Launch Monitor See why the ball flew the way it did. High speed optical sensors are built into the mat to capture all elements of the club face at impact with the ball and the ball's true launch angles and speed. This data is shown graphically in pop-up windows after every shot. Data included: * Club head speed at impact to the ball. * Club face angle at impact (number of degrees open or closed) in relation to path angle. * Club head angle of approach (hitting the ball on the down or up-stroke). * Swing path in degrees (i.e. From out to in, in -- out etc). * Ball position on club-face at impact (vertical and horizontal distance from sweet spot on club-face is captured). Effective club-face loft at impact. i.e. AAA iron normally has 40 A° of loft, but when the club is held at anything other than 90 A° to the ball, the effective angle at impact will be changed. Also, the club-face angle and hitting the ball on the upward or downward stroke will effect the loft angle and thus the flight of the ball. Ball spin rates and directions are calculated from the captured club data at impact. Side (or horizontal) spin as well as top (or vertical) spin rates are calculated and summed to give a final spin rate and spin direction. The side spin causes the ball to curve left or right depending on the direction of spin and the positive top spin will give extra lift and distance. Negative top spin (caused by topping the ball) will, on the other hand, cause the ball to dive. Ball launch path angle. Ball launch vertical angle. Ball launch velocity. In analysis mode, pop-up windows (like the one above) show the position of the ball on the clubface and all the relevant club and ball launch angles at the moment of impact. The Golf Simulator club swing analysis functions record all swings and ball trajectory flight data. Of particular interest to club fitters, the data can be viewed in table form allowing you to compare performance characteristics of swings and clubs. Mouse right-clicking on the shot entry opens the trajectory analysis window and replays the shot. Because the sensor mat can also detect the club attack angle to the ball, you can see to what extent hitting on the up- or down-stroke will affect the ball's vertical launch angle. The above image shows that the club head -- a 3 wood with 16 degrees of loft -- struck the ball on the up-stroke at 7 degrees causing the normal ball launch angle to increase to 23 degrees. Striking the ball on the down-stroke on the other hand -- here 6 degrees -- causes the ball's vertical launch angle to decrease. Multiple trajectory traces can be shown for comparison. |

| "This golf simulator has the best reactions of any golf simulator on the market. When any side spin is imparted on the ball the sensor in the mat picks it up, unlike other simulators that shows a straight shot. This is a great simulator for teaching. You can actually hit a draw or fade" Steve Bean Director of Instruction Menifee Valley Golf Schools |
