| Steve Bean Director of Golf School Operations Steve started his golf career in 1980 at the Rancho Bernardo Inn & C. C. In north San Diego County. In the twenty nine years since Steve has worked around some of the worlds best golf instructors. In 1988 Steve was on staff at Derek Hardy's California Academy of Golf. Derek at the time was and still is teacher to many LPGA stars. In 1994 Steve joined the Hank Haney Instructional Staff of California. Mr. Haney is currently working as the swing coach for Tiger Woods . In the last thirty years Steve has helped players of all skill levels to understand, improve and enjoy golf at a higher level. I was in charge of golf course construction and golf course development for Avco Community Developers including start up of new golf operations. Scott has General Manager experience at a number of off course golf shops and is our lead instructor in southern Nevada. Scott started his golf career at Escondido Country Club in Escondido, California. Scott is also a personal trainer. Scott spent more than five years competing as a body builder. | Tim Parun Golf Teaching Professional / San Diego PGA Member that has improved golfers since 1988 and a top competitive golfer, earning the title of San Diego Chapter PGA Player of the Year for 2003, '04 and '06. He also has competed in the 2004 Buick Invitational and 2006 Nissan Open on the PGA Tour. | Patty Atkins Teaching Professional / San Diego / Inland Empire Patty is a graduate of the Golf Academy of America, San Diego Campus and the Director of Player Development for Women On Course. Patty specializes in teaching women who are new to golf. She has over 20 years of education experience and tailors her instruction to the client's individual goals and learning style. Patty believes that above all golf should be enjoyable and teaches not only full swing and short game fundamentals but also incorporates social, emotional, and mental aspects of the game into her instruction. She will help you develop an improvement plan that will allow you to track your progress and reach your goals. | Brandon Smith Director of Instruction at The Links of Summerly, Lake Elsinore Five Year Golf Teaching Professional Brandon Smith is the 1st Assistant Golf Professional for The Links at Summerly Golf Club in Lake Elsinore, California. Prior to this position Brandon was Tournament Director and 1st Assistant Golf Professional for The Retreat Golf and Country Club, a private golf club in Corona CA. He has also been an Assistant Golf Professional for The Country Club at Soboba Springs and The PGA of Southern California Golf Club. Brandon was raised in San Marcos CA, Brandon now lives with his wife and two children in Murrieta CA. Brandon is a graduate of the Golf Academy of San Diego with an AA in Golf Complex Management and hold’s an Advanced Teaching Degree.Brandon enjoys teaching beginners as well fine tuning the golf swings of more experienced golfers. |
